To check availability:-
  1. SELECT which cottage.
  2.  SELECT your month and year on the calendar for your preferred property.
  3. Look for your preferred dates in that month
  4. HOVER your cursor over any highlighted date in red (this is available start dates on the online system - we can sometimes do other please enquire)
  5. A price for your holiday will be shown by using your cursor to hover over the red highlighted dates - it will automatically show the price and nights available and it will also show any special price offers or discounts that may be relevant - this 'pops up' in the box just above the calendar.
  6. Click on your start date to book - it allows you to then choose your departure date - or see below for further instructions.
If you would like to carry on and book:-
5 STEP - EASY AND SECURE - ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM

  1. Click on your chosen start date (red highlighted dates) on the calendar
  2. Then choose your departure date.
  3. The price will be shown and add the number of people in your party (enter discount code if you have one)
  4. Add your details eg name and address etc
  5. Indicate if you wish to pay by cheque, bank transfer or credit or debit card.

PAYMENTS:-
  • Our preferred method of payment is by Bank Transfer - and our bank details will be sent if you choose to book.
However we can also take payments with the following options:
  • Credit or Debit Card - by phone - please phone us on 01538 300101
  • Credit or Debit Card - when booking online through our booking system on our website
  • Cheque - please make payable to Mrs B E Turnock
  • International Bank Transfer (IBAN) - our bank details will be sent if you choose to book - PLEASE NOTE: charges from the bank are variable depending on which country - (any charges are payable by yourselves as it is not included in the price we have quoted you

Deposit and Balance:-
  • A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking; reservations are confirmed upon receipt of the deposit.
  • The final balance is due 6 weeks (42 days) prior to arrival date. 
  • If booking within 6 weeks of arrival date then full payment is required.


We will provisionally hold your booking for 7 days to allow you to arrange deposit payment (full payment if less than 6 week before arrival date).
Please note that any booking is provisional until we have received your payment to secure your booking. If we do not receive this payment then the booking may be cancelled unless agreed.

Additional information

We TRY and keep our booking calendar simple:-

Our normal changeover days are normally Friday or Monday.

Weekly holidays:
Friday-Friday or Monday-Monday - 7 nights

Midweek Breaks: 
 Monday-Friday - 3 or 4 nights (please look out for our seasonal 4 nights for the price of 3)
Monday  - Wed - 2 nights
Wed - Friday 2 nights

Weekends Breaks:
Short Weekend Breaks - 2 nights :-Arrive Friday after 3pm, depart Sunday by 10am (or  choose our lazy Sunday checkout leaving anytime on Sunday).
OR arrive Saturday 3pm onwards (we can sometimes do an early arrival) depart on Monday by 10 am
Long Weekend Breaks - 3 nights:-  Arrive Friday after 3 pm, depart Monday by 10 am 
Extra Long Weekend Breaks: -  Arrive Thursday  after 3 pm, depart Sunday with lazy Sunday checkout or Monday by 10 am 


If you would like to book  a 2 night weekend break with a lazy Sunday checkout (so you can leave any time you like on Sunday rather than by 10am) - please book out the 3 nights weekend online to stop others booking this Sunday, otherwise you will still be expected to leave by 10am, thank you)  

We can sometimes accommodate different start dates or lengths not shown on the online booking availability calender eg Wednesday to Monday or Wednesday to Wednesday - please contact us for your requirements.

Arrival/Departure:
Arrival time is 3.00 pm onwards
Departure time no later than 10.00 am (to give us time to prepare the property for any following guests please)

Price includes:
Heating
Electricity
Initial basket of logs for log burning stove - further available to purchase
Bed linen, duvets and pillows (anti allergy available on request) - with all beds made up for your arrival
2 towels per guest (bath towel and hand towel)
Kitchen towels and tea-towels
Initial supply of  Toilet rolls and initial household cleaning products

NO SMOKING allowed in either property.

NO PETS allowed in either property or on site.

If you need to cancel or change your reservation, be sure to let us know in writing as soon as possible. 

When you book your holiday accommodation at Troutsdale Farm you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.
