Spend a day at magnificent Chatsworth House, medieval Haddon Hall, tudor black & white Gawsworth Hall, Biddulph Grange National Trust gardens or Bakewell with its farmers’ market, gift shops and cafes tempting visitors to try the famous Bakewell Pudding.

Walking in the Peak District

There really is some fabulous walking locally - from our cottage doorstep footpaths,  to climbing to the top of  The Roaches to Ilam and Dovedale with the stepping stones to  ... explore hilly peaks, valleys, moorland, woodland

Troutsdale Farm is situated by Tittesworth  Reservoir - with a variety of watersports including Canoeing, Kayaking,  Paddleboarding and raft building - as well as walk Nature trail around the lake - see the dam head, visitor centre and cafe and fabulous childrens play area and picnic area

From magnificent Chatsworth House to Medieval Haddon Hall, Black and White Tudor  Gawsworth Hall, Shugborough Estate and so much more ...
