For any remaining March breaks we will include cream tea on arrival - so you can just arrive and treat mum - you'll just need to put the kettle on for her! (Please request when booking).
The family can book the cottage, includes all beds made up for arrival, 2 towels each, basics like tea, coffee sugar, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, bin liners, etc etc - all the things that mums 'have to think about' when going away!!.......... so the family can just book the cottage for a treat and mum just has to pack a few clothes!!
We have got lovely panoramic views over Peak District countryside, doorstep walks, some great local pubs to take her out for a bit of lunch, cosy log fire to return to (with basket of logs included), a local pub will even delivery takeaway off the 'specials board', and we also have a private chef that will come in and cook as well. Oh.... and major supermarkets will do a food delivery also .... so she does not even have to think of that!!

With stunning views over open countryside, Tittesworth Reservoir and The Roaches they offer peace and tranquillity in a rural setting all year round.
But in the month of February the first signs of spring can be enjoyed with the lengthening days and spectacular walks in the area.
We are fortunate to be centrally located between 3 nationally renowned areas in this country for magnificent snowdrops displays that are within easy reach and offer some of the most lovely walks that you can do in this area. The snowdrops attract followers from near and far such is the appeal of these exquisite flowers that herald the start of spring. Delicate and yet at the same time robust they are one of our most loved flowers – whether magically carpeting country paths in the wild or in garden borders. They simply cheer the soul and tell us we have another year of flora in store.
Snowdrops around the Peak District villages of Milldale and Alstonfield:-
Alstonfield and Milldale villages are well known for their various sites with vast quantities of snowdrops in a natural setting in some of the most lovely scenic countryside around the Peak District National Park.
Hopton Hall in Derbyshire:-
Open each day between Saturday 1st February and Sunday 1st March 2020 open from 10.30am closes at 4.00pm.
The current Hopton Hall can trace its roots back to the 1400's when it boasted an estate of 3,700 acres, some of which now stands under the Carsington Reservoir. Since 1996, the woodland and its walks have gradually been cleared and restored. This has resulted in wonderful displays of Snowdrops and Aconites accross 5 acres of woodland.

Just over the county border in Cheshire is Rode Hall Grade II listed Park and Gardens in Cheshire which has one of the finest displays of snowdrops in the North West, with over 50 different varieties, set in a magnificent Humphry Repton landscape. The mile long Snowdrop Walk is a perfect morning or afternoon stroll out in the fresh air for the whole family, amidst swathes of cascading white flowers.
